Melissa Rich is the founder, owner and operator of A Rich Experience Massage & Wellness Spa and the Director of the Continuing Education Program. Melissa graduated in 2002 from The Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Melissa focuses on whole body health; treating each client uniquely based on his or her individual needs. Utilizing various massage techniques, Melissa's intention is to facilitate her clients in their journey to optimum health and well being. Melissa has brought together a group of experienced and diverse wellness specialists to create a truly unique spa experience!

Coral Robinson completed training for Massage Therapy at Tucson's Providence Institute in 2005 where she studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Stretching and Sports Massage. Coral's goal is to make each and every client feel as if they are her only client.  She wants the massage experience to feel safe, comfortable, relaxing, and therapeutic. Coral feels it is her number one job to not only listen to the client's words but also the client's body when determining which techniques to use during the treatment.  Coral is passionate about people and truly enjoys watching them positively respond to her therapeutic touch!

Ed Muren graduated from The Desert Institute of Healing Arts in 2005. He specializes in Deep Tissue/Sports Massage and is trained in Reflexology, Hot Stones, Prenatal, Swedish, Spa and Ayurvedic treatments. Ed has a general understanding of the five element theory and has had introduction to Shiatsu, and Thai Massage. Ed pursues each treatment with the intent of balancing while relaxing. He sees the body as a vehicle for traveling through this existence. Like any vehicle, proper care and regular tune-ups will keep them performing well. Massage is a great way to maintain flexibility and continue moving with fluidity.

Mandy Muren is a Licensed Massage Therapist with nine years of experience. Mandy’s massage training includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Chair Massage, Hot Stone, Pre-Natal, Reflexology, Opening the Core, basic Ayurvedic Theory and treatment, as well as introductory classes in Myofascial Release, and Lymphatic Drainage. Mandy is a Reiki Master and provides stand alone Reiki sessions and also incorporates Reiki into her massage sessions, balancing the body's subtle energies while providing a deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatment.

Stacy Enriquez graduated from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts - Cortiva Institute and trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Myofacial Release, Injury Rehabilitation, Lymphatic Drainage, Lymphedema protocol for cancer patients, Pre/Post Natal Massage, Hot Stones, Body Wraps and Scrubs. Stacy helps her clients understand the dynamics of actions and posture, empowering each client to change everyday habits and improve the health of their body. Stacy is also a practicing doula and teaches Pre-Natal CE Workshops.

Debora graduated the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in 1993.  She also studied The Lauterstein Method, completing the Deep Massage program. Other studies include Sports Massage, Neck/Headache Massage, Myofascial Techniques, Aromatherapy and Reiki.  In 2007, she completed advanced training and became a Master Ashiatsu Therapist (barefoot massage).  Debora’s goal is to listen to her clients with an open mind and heart to hear what their needs are, whether that be deep tissue or gentle nurturing.  She believes massage is essential to experience a healthy body, a clear mind and a balanced life.

Denise graduated from the 1000 hour program at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in 2000. While in school, Denise studied Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Sports Massage. Following graduation, Denise continued her training through numerous continuing education seminars which included Neuromuscular Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Ayurvedic Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki, and Body Wraps. Denise's treatments include a combination of massage techniques and energy work to facilitate the body's ability to heal.

Dr. Don Chatfield graduated from the Fielding Graduate University with a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems. His doctoral studies included research into human learning and motivation. He completed hypnotherapy studies at the Wesland Institute. A certified hypnotherapist, he is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and is board certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy. Nancy Howe became certified in Bowenwork after completing all 7 Bowenwork modules in the summer of 2003. Nancy then became certified in Specialized Procedures, under the guidance of Ozzie and Elaine Rentsch. She has proceeded into the Master's Program and been accepted into the Bowenwork Academy Teacher Training Program. Bowenwork is an innovative, holistic bodywork that was developed by Tom Bowen in Australia in the mid 1950's. It is now practiced in 31 countries and taught in over 20. Judy Ferrig, M.S., IARP, is the founder of “Open Pathways-Energy Work and Communication for People and Animals." Her graduate studies in applied behavioral science and fellows in managing change were acquired at The Johns Hopkins University and provide a grounded basis for her energy work.  Judy has studied a wide variety of clearing and healing approaches from many cultures and has incorporated them into her multi-modality approach. In 2005, Deb Wood began a new life journey and enlightened spiritual path. After attending Animal Communication training with Linda Johns, Deb truly began to understand how to communicate with animals as well as people. Welcome our new member to the team, her name is Jodie Kush and she in a Licensed Massage Therapist.  She attended school at Desert Institute and has been in practice for 6 years. Jodie has just moved back to Tucson from South Carolina and is starting to build her practice at A Rich Experience.  She is trained in several modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones and Pre-Natal Massage. Carolyn graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in 1998.  She specializes in Swedish Massage, Hot Stones, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Auricular Therapy, and many energy modalities.  She has been a Reiki Master since 1997. Carolyn's  reatments include a combination of massage techniques and energy work designed to assist the body in its process of life and health.  Carolyn's work addresses the whole body as a system of energy innately designed to relax and heal.

In 2008 Liz Townsend attended Pure Aesthetics to pursue her career as an Aesthetician and graduated in 2009. Liz has an advanced education and certification in chemical peels, Brazilian waxing, and microdermabrasion. Liz offers a wide variety of customized facial services utilizing the Pevonia skin care line and also carries the retail line so that her clients can continue their skin care regimen at home. Liz looks forward to creating a personalized and effective skin care solution for you!

Gena DiPrinzio has lived in Tucson since 1998 and graduated from Tucson College of Beauty in 2004 studying esthetics, waxing, makeup application, and body treatments. She has continuing education in Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Body Treatments, such as body scrubs, mud treatments, and wraps, as well as Laser Hair and Tattoo Removal. Her special interests are brow shaping, massage, microdermabrasion and other skin resurfacing treatments. Gena approaches each treatment as special and will provide a completely relaxing and satisfying experience by giving a professional and knowledgable treatment. Patrick's love for science, nature, and spirituality has been apparent since childhood. He completed a degree in Math from Whitman College and taught Math at Western Washington University.  He attended the legendary Brian Utting School of Massage from 1992-94 in Seattle, and has since completed over two thousand hours of continuing education in Cranio Sacral, Osteopathic Technique, Medical Massage, Healing Energy, and Therapeutic Relationship. He has published articles related to the Melting Muscles technique twice in Massage&Bodywork magazine and Massage Therapy Journal and has published numerous online articles and is working on an upcoming novel.
